Block Paving
Block Paving: Block paving is a hugely popular choice for a driveway, one that requires good preparation to get the best job. What you see on the surface is only as good as the preparation and it's all too easy to end up with dips and hollows that collect water and spoil the outlook you envisaged. Block paving needs to be surrounded by something to give a firm edge. The edges of any paving are the most vulnerable and we recommend either curb edging or laying an edge of the paving blocks you are using. When laying your driveway we need to ensure we start with a solid base to achieve this we start by digging down 10 inches below finish block height, We will than add sub base to start which is followed by a layer of concrete to get a solid base where we will than add sand and finish off with your choice of block. After all your blocks are layered the final aspects of the job will then be created by doing this we are required to compact your drive using sand and a whacker plate to ensure you have a smooth strong finish.
